Since I started writing for websites in early 2016, I’ve been fortunate enough to collaborate with some of the brightest minds in Trinidad & Tobago – from a leading independent design consultancy, to an iconic Tobago resort, to a furniture/object design company that’s very close to home.
Mount Irvine Bay Resort
Scope: Took core proposition and positioning statements conceived by Abovegroup (Breathe Deeply; Room to Breathe) and updated all of Mount Irvine’s website copy to match the new tone and sense of expansiveness that came with the resort’s rebranding and renovations. Kept brand messaging consistent throughout revisions of existing copy and generation of new copy. Liaised directly with the Mount Irvine team to confirm accuracy of information. http://www.mtirvine.com/
Scope: Reviewed and cleaned up existing copy to match DeNovo’s tone: smart and straightforward. Generated new copy, as needed. For this job, as I understood relatively little about the energy industry and its processes going in, a fair amount of reading up and research also took place. http://www.denovo.energy/
Client: By Making
Scope: After joining the By Making team in March of 2016, I took charge of writing the copy on our website. This included updating general information about By Making and standardising product descriptions, and I continue to write blog posts on various projects and activities, along with supporting blurbs for social media outlets. http://www.bymaking.com/
